A heartfelt thank you to the attendees, speakers and sponsors of the Intelligence Squared Green Festival 2009. Over 1000 people attended the day’s events. There was a real buzz as speakers mingled with attendees in between events in the Rainforest bar and the halls of the RGS.
The exhibition hall bustled with energy. People lined up to test drive the Tesla and G-Wiz electric cars and the air hummed with the sound of an electric light bulb powered by Global Action Plan’s Energy bike. The audience was wowed by an exhibition of award-winning climate change photographs by Prix Pictet, investigated energy saving inventions by the winners of the Ashden Award and browsed through the offerings of Carbon Trust, Because Its There and Do the Green Thing.
